This is where architecture replaces effort.

The Continuity Framework has three layers.

Layer 1: What Must Survive You

List:

  • responsibilities

  • commitments

  • standards

  • systems

What must continue functioning if you step away?

Be specific.

Layer 2: What Can Disappear

Not everything deserves permanence.

Some things only exist because:

  • they feed ego

  • they signal importance

  • they create motion

Remove what doesn’t need to survive.

Continuity requires pruning.

Layer 3: What Gets Passed On

True maturity builds:

  • teachable structures

  • transferable processes

  • shared ownership

If no one else understands your system, it isn’t architecture.

It’s dependency.

Weekly Application

This week:

  • choose one area of your life

  • remove yourself slightly

  • observe what breaks

What breaks reveals what’s unfinished.

What holds reveals what’s real.

Strength isn’t how much you can carry.
It’s what continues when you’re no longer holding on to it.
